Iconic Lights Review

As brand ambassadors for Iconic Lighting we have been fortunate to be sent a lovely selection of lighting for our home.  We are currently giving the twins bedroom a Makeover so selected lighting from the huge choice on offer to complement the new look industrial theme of their room.

I was immediately drawn to the ampersand LED battery operated light, which is made from white metal and is a great quality value option.  We have popped it on a shelf for the moment but when the room is finished I think it might end up wall mounted.

As the twins have both had new desks built in their bedroom, I decided to select another LED Battery operated light so that the boys would have one each.  Keeps the fighting to a minimum !  The metal star is another stylish and great value light fitting selling for just £15 on the Iconic lights website

Although a stylish and attractive addition to the home during the day, they really come into their own of an evening.   Iconic lights have such a huge array of lighting available, catering for every taste and budget.  From ceiling, floor, table, wall and outdoor lamps, they have it all covered.  I previously chose the beautiful Poul Christiansen large ceiling shade from their Scandinavian collection and it makes me happy every time I walk into my bedroom.  I think its vital that lighting should not only be functional but also a beautiful, thought about accessory for any room.  it is just as important at the main pieces of furniture.

Our final choice this time round was this fabulous Military style hand grenade wooden table lamp.  Made from a light wood it is a real statement piece for the bedroom and the boys love it !   It has a cool red flex which is pleasingly long to stretch to those awkward plug sockets and although comes dismantled, it is very quick and easy to put together and again looks stunning whether switched on or off.  A real interior design statement piece.

Living in the Middle East, I probably would not have chosen the hand granade. I love the ampersand however.

I really love the pieces you've chosen Karen and I'm sure your boys do too. I might have to get the star for my daughter's room. I have to sing twinkle twinkle little star to her about 10 times before bed every night so I'm sure she'd love it.
